    Double Seat Briefs (1930's-1980's)

    This blog is designed to help educate those interested the history of double-seat briefs. Historical pictures, newspaper and catalog ads will show how these briefs were worn from the late 1930's till the early 1990's.

    Wore these Tiger Training briefs since 2009. Great for light bladder leakage or accidents after hitting the urinal, relieving myself, and then zipping back up and excess wetness comes out and these hold that. Also good fro holding small amounts when I cannot get to a bathroom but have to go wicked bad. Still not a diaper but still more absorbent than regular underwear. Much like the training pants I wore as a little kid.

    I purchased my first pair of Tiger mid rise briefs over three years ago. I was immediately impressed by the softness and thickness of the cotton and loved the comfort and feeling. Tiger briefs look and feel good; better than any other brief I’ve worn. 21 pairs and 3 years later, the first pair is still as comfortable as they were the first day I put them on. I also love the different colored waist bands. My only suggestion and request if you could make the mid rise briefs using the waist bands that are currently offered only for the non mid rise pairs.

    I like the Emergency Vehicle briefs that I have. Please make some with trucks, some with construction equipment, and some with boats.

    I have at least 8 pairs of Tigerunderwear. I usually wear the full cut ones, for me more comfortable. The low rise look awesome on young guys. I remember wearing tightywhities back in the 60’s. Bvd had the double paneled seat.

    These old school tightywhities brings back lots of memories growing up. The waistbands are a big hit. I must admit I used to and still do like showing off the waistband and in the locker rooms my Tigerunderwear

    The new Emergency Vehicle pants are a welcome addition to the Tiger line-up. I like the clever pattern and the bright colors. Super retro and reminiscent of my childhood. The all cotton material is very soft and comfortable . I discovered that because of the nice full cut, these briefs are also fun to wear as a summer pajama bottom over my nightly two pair of Tiger Trainers and Star plastic pants. I paired them with a blue t-shirt that has a red fire engine on the front and it looks like a cute p.j. outfit. Keep the designs coming, maybe a popular one would be dinosaurs or sports equipment. Thanks.

    Tiger briefs definitely remind me of the briefs I wore as a kid in the 70’s and 80’s, and saw most other boys wearing in the locker room in PE, at summer camp, etc. The cut is very flattering and comfortable.

    Ive been wearin these Tiger double seat briefs for years, they really hold up, they take me back to my youth. Like the higher cut, plenty of room to tuck your T shirt into your briefs

    Ryan’s post is really insightful. The Tiger Training Briefs are a great product for so many reasons. But, one of which is that although they basically look like “regular” briefs, the extra thickness of 4 padded layers front and back and the uninterrupted inside front panel due to the mock fly design allow us to know they are truly a training pant. You know you are not wearing cheap, flimsy tighty whites but a perfectly crafted, durable, absorbent pair of trainers. I too wore pull-ups and goodnites for many years, as well as Gerber cloth pants. Since those of course no longer fit, Tiger trainers are a perfect transition, if there are still day or night wetting issues or you simply want that familiar training pants feeling. A single or double pair of Tiger Trainers coupled with Star Plastic Pants, guarantee complete security, dry clothing, dry pajamas, dry sheets and total comfort. Most days its a single pair with my Star Plastic Pants and most nights its double Tigers plus Plastic Pants. Though very thick and absorbent, I don’t feel self conscious because they compress nicely under jeans, khakis, cargo shorts, or pajama bottoms.. Overall, these are wonderful products. I agree with other posts that new prints would be welcomed. I believe most guys would like cars, trucks, sports equipment, other animals, and so on. Thanks Tiger for all you do.
